10-12's SCYAP Community Group (10 - 12yrs)

SCYAP is running a group for young people 10-12 years old, and this will have a focus on community safety, community involvement and personal development. The Programme will include Fire Safety & awareness at Falkirk Fire Station, outdoor learning, Bushcraft & survival skills with the Well Wild Project , and some issue-based and fun workshops and will be accredited with a Youth Award. The programme starts on Tuesday 16th June at 7pm in Tamfourhill Community Hub and will operate throughout the School summer holidays.

SCYAP Volunteering Matters Project (10 - 17yrs)

Come and help out at our wild nature garden in the Tamfourhill Woods, we will also enjoy a camp fire, BBQ and toasting some marshmallows.

SCYAP Canal Cruise (10 - 17yrs)

Falkirk wheel

We will enjoy a mindful cruise along the Onion Canal in a canal boat with the Seagull Trust and go over the Falkirk Wheel, we meet at the Falkirk Wheel at 1pm and the cruise ends at the Seagull Trust Boathouse in Bantaskin at approx.. 3.30pm.

SCYAP Community Arts Project (10 - 17yrs)

This will be an opportunity to get creative and will be a young person led project where they put their creative ideas into action. There is a Youth Award delivered as part of this programme so we expect the young person to attend all the sessions.

CAMP

Bushcraft & Survival Skills Programme (10 - 17yrs)

Well Wild Porject

This programme will be delivered in partnership with the Well Wild Project and will involve young people learning a variety of outdoor Bushcraft and survival skills leading to them experiencing an overnight survival exercise in the Rough Castle Woods. Young people are expected to attend every session as they will gain a National Youth Award through their involvement.

SCYAP Paddle Pick Up (10 - 17yrs)

Falkirk wheel

An opportunity to help clear up the canal of litter and help the environment whilst also learning the skills of canoeing. This will be an enjoyable afternoon on the canal with a very worthwhile purpose. Meet at the entrance to the Falkirk Wheel at 1pm.
